    CONSULTATION & EXHIBITION - THANK YOU FOR LETTING US HAVE YOUR VIEWS

    As part of the consultation programme for the St Mary Le Port site in the city centre, a stakeholder event was held on 12 October 2006, and a wider manned public exhibition was held in St Peters Church in Castle Park from Saturday 14 October - Friday 20 October 2006. These events were organised to show near neighbours (residential and commercial) and other interested representatives of the local community how the preferred developer Deeley Freed Estates and their project team are approaching the master planning of this important site.

    Plans for the next stage of public consultation on the regeneration of St Mary le Port in Bristol city centre have been announced. There will be a public exhibition in Castle Park from Sunday 1st October to Sunday 8th October showing options for the regeneration of the site, which are currently being worked up by Bristol developer Deeley Freed Estates and their project team.

    ARCHAEOLOGISTS DELVE INTO HISTORY OF ST MARY-LE-PORT

    Archaeologists will start work to uncover any historic remains underneath the site of St Mary-le-Port in Bristol city centre next week (Monday 26th June). The work is part of a series of studies being commissioned by local firm Deeley Freed Estates who are working up a masterplan for the 5 acre site next to Bristol Bridge, to help guide how it should be re-developed.
